Assists in the development of overseas funded research activity, providing specialist support for EU Commission funded research. Assists the Research Manager in supporting the development of the emerging interdisciplinary research schools. Supports the Research Manager in key initiatives, notably implementation of full economic costing (fEC) and deputises for the Research Manager on strategic issues in his absence.
