Heads up the team whose primary responsibility is the negotiation of contractual terms and conditions of externally funded research grants and contracts, and the reviewing of appropriate costing and pricing of research bids. Takes an overview of the electronic submission processes for applications to research funders including Research Councils, and provides statistical analyses and reports in relation to research bids. He also deputises for the Director - Research Office in his absence on matters of an operational nature.
