HostBuilder
IT Services have developed a tool to aid in DNS management.
Hostbuilder is a web-based IP Address Management (IPAM) tool developed by the Network and Security team in Loughborough University's IT Services department. Hostbuilder was designed to:
simplify the process of adding, removing and making changes to entries in our DNS
provide a graphical interface to the above
sanity check those changes
synchronise those changes across multiple DNS servers
impose user account based restrictions
provide a logging mechanism for those changes
