Exchange E-mail - Outlook 2007 from Home
Introduction
You need to follow the instructions below to connect to Exchange E-mail from your own PC at home using Outlook 2007.
Instructions

Close Outlook 2007.

From the Start button menu select Settings and then Control Panel.

If you are in "Classic View" double-click Mail.

If you are in "Category View" click User Accounts...

...and then click Mail.

The Mail Setup dialogue will appear.

Click Show Profiles.

Click Add....

In Profile Name type Lboro Exchange.

Click OK.

Enter Your Name. Enter your Loughborough E-mail Address. Enter your Password twice. Leave "Manually configure server settings or additional server types" unchecked.

Click Next.

Autoconfigure will start:

You will then be prompted to log on to the AutoDiscover Service.

For your User name enter lunet\ follwed by your Loughborough login identifier - that's lunet followed by a backslash - lunet\userid.
Enter your Loughborough Password.
If you are sure that no-one else will be able to access your login details on this computer you can select the Remember my password checkbox.
Click OK.

Configurtion will continue.

Click Finish.

In the Mail dialogue, click OK.

Launch Outlook 2007.

From Profile Name select Lboro Exchange.
Click OK.

For your User name enter lunet\ follwed by your Loughborough login identifier - that's lunet followed by a backslash - lunet\userid.
Enter your Loughborough Password.
Click OK.

You will need to wait as it sets up your off line folders for the first time.
