Current Research:

Current research: My research involves analysis of newspaper coverage of issues around immigration to Britain during general election campaigns over time. I will be using qualitative and quantitative approaches to investigate continuity and change in the nature of these discourses over the 25 election campaigns between 1918 and 2010.

Research Interests:

Political communication; discourse analysis; media and migration.
