Current Research:
My PhD involves analysis of police interviews/interrogations with arrested suspects in cases identified as ‘stalking’ or relevant to ‘stalking’. The data will be analysed using conversation analysis (CA), a well-established method for analysing naturally-occurring
talk and interaction. I am currently focusing upon the idea of "who is a stalker?" as the Police Force in the UK currently has difficulty in isolating from all of its data the answer to this question.
Research Interests:
Discursive psychology, conversation analysis, forensic psychology (particularly the behavioural phenomenon of 'stalking'), police interview/interrogation techniques.
