- Background

Mey has a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Tenaga Nasional, Malaysia and a PhD from University of Bristol, UK. Her research has focused on techniques for managing uncertainty in engineering design and simulation. Her research interests include uncertainty and risk in engineering design and manufacture, modelling and simulation methods, life cycle performance, decision making and information management through life. She was part of a multi-university Grand Challenge project on Knowledge and Information Management in Product-Service Systems (KIM), focusing on information capture and feedback of service experience to correct and update design knowledge for long life products and systems. She actively engages and collaborates with national and international researchers and the industry.
