Background

Educated at University of Ulster, Jordanstown and Loughborough University. Previously worked at Fisher Body Overseas Corporation, GMC. Joined Loughborough University in 1989 as a Research Associate, became a lecturer in 1990, subsequently Senior Lecturer in 1998, Reader in July 2000 and Professor in April 2005.
