This is a dynamic and supportive Department, an excellent place to study and work. We currently have over 25 academic staff, a support team of nine and a diverse postgraduate community of about 50. Students find themselves in a lively and stimulating atmosphere created by an enthusiastic staff of leading authorities in their field. Together we form a community of scholars dedicated to a critical analysis of the physical and socio-political world. Our objective is to promote innovative research which is agenda setting and developed in collaboration with our postgraduate students. We pride ourselves on the ways in which staff integrate their research expertise into stimulating teaching delivered at all levels.
