Dr Leila Musavian

Dr. Leila Musavian obtained her Ph.D. degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from King's College London, London, UK, in 2006 and her B.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 1999. She is currently working as a research associate at Advanced Signal Processing Group, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Loughborough University, Leicestershire, UK. Prior to that, she was a post doctoral fellow at Institute of Scientific Research-Energy, Materials, and Telecommunications (INRS-EMT), University of Quebec, Montreal, Canada. She has been TPC member of ICC2008, ICC2009, Globecom2008, ICCCN2008, and WCNC2009, and is currently serving as TPC member for Globecom2009, wireless communications symposium.

Dr. Musavian research interests lie in the area of wireless communications and include information theory, radio resource management for next generation wireless networks, Cognitive radios, performance analysis of MIMO systems, and cross-layer design.
