Paul Barker is a PhD Student in the Advanced Signal Processing Research Group. He attained a First Class MEng degree in Electronics and Computer Systems at Loughborough University in 2010 and returned to the university in 2011 after taking a year out. Outside of his studies, Paul has worked in the events industry as a Production Manager and Sound Engineer as well as having several jobs in IT Support and Computer Programming.
Research Area
Paul is looking at the real-time monitoring of anthropogenic noise in the ocean and estimation of its impact on marine animals.
