As Loughborough University is the official preparation camp headquarters for the British and Japanese Olympic teams this summer, we have decided not to run the Wind Power Summer School this year.
However, we will be back again in July 2013 so keep checking our website for further course details in early 2013.

CREST WIND POWER SUMMER SCHOOL
With global wind power capacity now standing at over 120,000MW, the industry continues to expand rapidly. In response to the demand for more trained personnel across the sector in the UK and worldwide, CREST runs an annual short course. Covering key aspects of the wind power industry, this highly popular 5-day course is designed to meet the needs of engineers and project developers but is also suited to non-specialist

Venue:
Sir Denis Rooke Building is on the University's Holywell Park and has ample free parking.
Accommodation:
This is not included in the cost of the course, but we can supply details of local hotels and guest houses on request. Both the ‘Link Hotel’ (telephone: 01509 211800) and the ‘University Lodge’ (telephone: 01509 222258/67) provide affordable accommodation within walking distance of the Seminar Room.
Cancellations:
In the event that you are unable to attend the course, you may send a substitute in your place. Please inform us of this as soon as possible and before the commencement of the course.
An administration fee of 20% of the course fee will be levied for cancellations received up to 10 days prior to the start of the course. We regret that no refund of course fees can be made for cancellations received after this date.
