Programme Structure
The programme can be taken as a one-year full-time programme or part-time over two to five years. Semester Assessment is based on both coursework and examinations. An outline of this structure is shown below.
Semester 1 – October to January
- IT for Construction Projects (15 credits)
- Research and Communication (15 credits)
- Principles of Design and Construction (15 credits)
- Principles of Project Management (15 credits)
- Management & Professional Development 1 (15 credits)
(for part-time students only)
Semester 2 – February to June
Choose two modules from each group:
Group 1:
- Design Management (15 credits)
- Sustainability in the Built Environment (15 credits)
- Management of the Construction Process (15 credits)
Group 2:
- Strategic Management (15 credits)
- People and Teams (15 credits)
- Procurement and Contract Procedures (15 credits)
Semester 2 and Summer Term
